My medium is oilbar--oil pigment in a stick form that lends itself to drawing and gesture. My subject is the connection/division between physical and spiritual reality, manifested in iconic and metaphorical images. A lot of my work has an "earth/sky" horizon; some of it has to do with human desire for the divine, some with the exaltation of natural forms, some with the transition from life to death:  a "beautiful dying."

I want to sell my work, but it always amazes me when an image I've created speaks to someone strongly enough for them to pay to have it. My prices are modest but arbitrary. You will pay more for the paintings I love (the ones that have revealed new information in their doing).
